FC 257: McGregor vs Poirier 2n Direct!
UFC icon and former two-weight world champion McGregor has not fought since January 2020 when he destroyed Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone in 40 seconds at UFC 267 in Las Vegas.
McGregor – who claimed to have retired for the third time in four years last summer – defeated Poore in the first round at UFC 178 in September 2014, en route to becoming a sports superstar.
However, “The Diamond” became a full-star in the Poire Lightweight Division, serving as interim champion before being presented by legend Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242 in September 2019.
Pourier recently defeated New Gendernder Dan Hooker. In June 2020, and the “infamous” McGregor will face a test tonight in Abu Dhabi – the winner presumably to convince Khabib to leave retirement.

McGregor vs. Poirier Prediction: “Notorious” for winning
Whereas six years from now, McGregor had a huge psychological advantage over Poire because of that previous stop when the pair first met in 2014.
“The Diamond” is now a better operator and should be given a much tougher test, but it is still difficult to see if McGregor could spoil the possibility of another big performance with rival Khyb.
Another stop for Brash Dubliner, but this time in the later rounds.

Weight: how did it happen
Given that the main event is clearly employed, it is no surprise that both McGregor and Poyer gained weight before the light bout in Abu Dhabi.
McGregor hit 155 pounds – the championship weight and announced, “You’re going to have a blast tomorrow, okay?” lets go. “
Poirier hit the 156-pound light range. He said: “My entire career has nurtured me for last night, and I am here to win and to raise my hand in any way.”
“I left everything there. lets go.
