Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy S21 phone in January, and a large crop of leaked information means we can learn more about them now – so if you want to make some surprises for yourself when launching the Galaxy S21, Look.
Sources talking to Android Police have revealed a lot of details about the new Galaxy S21 phone. We’re clearly in line for three phones: the 6.2-inch Galaxy S21, the 6.7-inch Galaxy S21 Plus and the 6.8-inch Galaxy S21 Ultra.
All three phones will have a 120Hz refresh rate screen, although the Ultra model will have an adaptive refresh rate that can transform itself on the fly, fitted with advanced LTPO display technology (thanks to which we also hear on the iPhone 13).
The Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 processor will handle phones depending on your region, although it’s not yet clear what type of RAM and internal storage configurations these handsets are going to have.
Cameras, batteries and more
For the rear camera, it is recommended to have setups like the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus Galaxy S20 series – a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto sensor and a 12MP ultraviolet sensor.
The S21 Ultra features the same 12MP ultraviolet sensor, it will have a 108MP main sensor and two 10MP telephoto sensors, it will provide 3x optical and 10x optical zoom. According to this latest link, the Ultra model will also have S Pen support – a rumor already floating around.
The Galaxy S21 is reportedly coming with a 4,000mAh battery and will be available in purple, pink, gray and white; The Galaxy S21 Plus will have a 4,800 mAh battery and will come in Violet, Silver and Black color options; And the S21 Ultra is obviously on the way with a 5000 mAh battery and it will be available in black or silver.
Pricing has not been confirmed yet, but sources talking to Android Police say it is going to be “more competitive” than ever considering the current global epidemic.
