Amazon Prime Video has reportedly acquired streaming rights for the long-awaited Vijay film ‘Mastery’ in Tamil. But the film will be a theatrical release. According to reports, Amazon Prime has acquired the streaming rights behind the theatrical release. Meanwhile, it is revealed that the Hindi version of the film is set for release across India. B4U Motion Pix owns the distribution rights for the Hindi version.

The film will be released in Hindi as a dubbed version. The name is slightly different from the Tamil version. If the original name is only ‘Master’, the Hindi version is called ‘Vijay Master’. The film has already received censorship and is U / A certified. Meanwhile, producer Javier Brito has previously stated that there is pressure to release the film Direct OTT, a theatrical release in Kovid’s position. However, he said that the film would only be released in theaters.

Although the producers have not said anything about the release date yet, a large section of fans believe that the film will be released on Pongal. The hashtag #MasterPongal was also trending on Twitter. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected in the coming days. The distribution rights of the film have already been sold in Kerala. Distribution rights in the Travancore region are owned by producer Listine Stephen’s Magic Frames and distribution rights in the Cochin-Malabar region are owned by Fortune Cinema.
