The daughter of TV star Lorraine Kelly admitted that all her school friends “wanted” her mother.

Rosie, 26, said that when she was in high school, male friends made it “very clear” to her that she had romantic feelings for her mother, Lorraine.

Speaking to Sunday Magazine Day, she said that watching her mother on TV was “everything she ever knew.”

She said: “Luckily, her fame has never been a problem for me.

“She didn’t go on reality TV, she never made a fool of herself.

“Sure, some people in my school liked it, and they were very candid about it, but I just took it as a compliment.”

After hearing that Rosie’s friends like her, Lorraine, 61, who appears on Celebrity Gogglebox with her daughter Rosie, exclaims, “You know how to please a 61-year-old!”

Lorraine – often voted as one of Britain’s sexiest women – first appeared on our screens on TV-M in 1984 and now hosts her own ITV Lorraine Breakfast Show.

The pair was left speechless upon their final appearance at Gogglebox.
