Jadon Sancho transfer advice
Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United appears to have stalled, at least for the time being.
But now he has been told to ignore United and wait for a move until next year, when he could sign for Liverpool, Chelsea or another big team.
Danny Murphy says that plenty of big clubs could move for Sancho next summer, including the Reds, so he should stay in Germany one more year.
Murphy wrote in his Daily Mail column: “United are an attractive proposition, one of the biggest clubs in the world with a young and exciting team.
“But Sancho won’t be short of suitors in his career and he’ll be aware that in a year’s time, when football finances are a bit steadier, he may have a choice that also includes Liverpool, his ‘local’ team Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
“It’s possible he may prefer to wait and weigh up his options after the Euros next summer rather than rocking the boat now by telling Dortmund he wants to leave.”
Sancho notched 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga last season and is still only 20.
