Javvi and Disney sign exclusive UK 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray deal sign

UK online retailer Javvi has revealed an exclusive deal with Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment in the UK. E-tailer was able to secure exclusive marketing rights to a total of 25 Disney and Pixar films as 4K UHD premieres, which will only be available in the Javvy range in the UK. There will be no steelbook publication, only the standard keep case version with slipcase. The new titles are listed on a weekly basis, the first two films in the special collection being two Pixar animated films “a bug’s Life” (USA 1998) and “The Monster AG” (USA 2001) form. The release will be on June 28, 2021.

Pre-orders for red carpet members have just been activated. From 7 pm German time, all other interested parties can also access it. The first teaser photo shows that the next “That awesome” (USA 2004) and “Mila Nemo” (USA 2003) is likely to follow. You should not expect German sound on Ultra HD Blu-ray, but English Dolby Atmos sound. Whether Disney will ever release these films on Ultra HD Blu-ray in this country or not it still stars. (Pf)
