JBL Unveils Battery Life Updates for Portable Bluetooth Speakers at CES 2024
JBL, a leading audio equipment manufacturer, has made exciting announcements regarding its portable Bluetooth speaker lineup at CES 2024. The updates primarily focus on improving battery life, ensuring users can enjoy extended playtime on a single charge.
The PartyBox models, including the Club 120 and Stage 320, now come with easily swappable batteries. This feature allows users to continue their partying without being limited to a single charge. Whether it’s an outdoor gathering or an event that goes on for hours, JBL ensures that its speakers can keep the music going.
For those who prefer personal portables, JBL introduces the Xtreme 4, Clip 5, and Go 4 models, all of which offer longer runtimes on a single charge. The Xtreme 4 even offers a replaceable battery to ensure long-term serviceability for the device.
In terms of specifications, the PartyBox models retain popular features from their predecessors. They come with an IPX4 rating, supporting basic wireless stereo pairing and offering control over themed lighting displays. Additionally, both the PartyBox models and personal portables support Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio and Auracast for seamless wireless connectivity.
The PartyBox models are equipped with two microphone inputs and one guitar input, making them perfect for karaoke and broadcasting needs. Furthermore, JBL is launching the PartyBox Wireless Mic bundle as an accessory to enhance the karaoke experience.
The Xtreme 4, featuring extended battery life of up to 24 hours, stands out from the personal portables. Not only does it offer exceptional playtime, but it also allows users to replace the battery portion itself when needed. The Clip 5 and Go 4, on the other hand, are extremely portable options with an IP67 rating, making them water and dust resistant. They also include Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio compatibility and can connect with Auracast-enabled speakers.
Consumers can look forward to purchasing the JBL Xtreme 4, Clip 5, and Go 4 directly from the company’s website starting from June 2024. The PartyBox Club 120 and Stage 320 will be available in April 2024.
