Announced earlier this month by Ubisoft, The Division: Heartland has not yet revealed its secrets during the Ubisoft conference at E3 2021, but a lengthy gameplay video has just been released on the net, giving a good overview . .
Mechanics of division into another universe
This spin-off of The Division Series has been developed by Red Storm Entertainment, to which we owe the latest Ghost Recon games. While no pictures or videos were shared by Ubisoft, one player shared a lengthy sequence of gameplay, certainly captured from currently running testing sessions.
We then discover a third-person game that takes place in the small American city of Silver Creek. The game will offer at least two modes with a fairly classic PvE, called Expedition, but also a 45-player PvEvP mode called Storm.
in one Talk On the run, Ubisoft specifies that the two game modes will offer loot, exploration, and combat “while avoiding the most aggressive and unpredictable viral contamination that the division has ever seen”. It seems that Storm Mode is coming to what we know about Battle Royal, but we will have to wait for more details in the coming weeks for confirmation.
Division: Heartland will be available for free somewhere between 2021 and 2022 and you can still sign up for the trial phase here.
