Devils pay tribute to The Sopranos with tracksuits ahead of NHL Stadium Series 2024

The New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers brought some Hollywood flair to the ice during their recent outdoor game at MetLife Stadium.

Paying homage to the hit HBO series “The Sopranos,” the Devils made a grand entrance in various-colored track suits, slicked-back hair, white tank tops, and flashy jewelry. Star forward Jack Hughes got into the fun spirit by sporting a blue and white track suit, while Timo Meier and Jesper Bratt posed for pictures holding espresso cups like Tony Soprano himself.

Fans were quick to approve of the unique outfits, with one describing it as “nails” and another praising the execution. The Philadelphia Flyers, not to be outdone, also had some pre-game fun by dressing up as characters from the iconic film “Rocky.”

Both teams hope the lighthearted approach will translate to success on the ice as they battle for positioning in the Eastern Conference standings. With the playoffs fast approaching, the Devils and Flyers look to carry the momentum from their entertaining pre-game antics into their upcoming matchups.
