At the CES 2021 Virtual Show in January 1114, Sony will unveil an AirPack solution for the drone, the Bravia XR TV series and the new PlayStation 5 game computer.
Looking at the range, the Japanese company focuses on audio-visual professionals.
One such solution is the 360 Reality Audio Creative Suite, an innovation in the field of music that helps create surround sound formats that support 360 sound audio.
Another innovation is Airpec, a drone for filming that uses Sony’s full-frame Alpha series system cameras. It is essentially the world’s largest drone capable of flying professional cameras. At the same time, Sony introduced virtual video production technology with 3D space capturing.
The company is also showcasing two display technologies: spatial reality display and crystal LED. Spatial reality display renders objects very realistically in 3D. According to the company, the screens will be able to convey the vision perfectly while sharing the design of the product manufactured with the company or displaying various combinations of colors and shapes.
With its powerful image processing processor X1, the Crystal LED display series is designed using screens of different sizes or in space with different dimensions.
Home technologies
At the show, Sony showed off the capabilities of the PlayStation 5, introducing 5G connectivity by supporting the latest Bravia XR TV series with the Xperia 5 II and Cognitive Processor XR. The technology evaluates the presence of radiation and adjusts the image accordingly. In addition, the technology is capable of converting audio signals into the 5.1.2 channel format.
The company is also showing progress in the development of the Vizian-S concept sedan, and its road trials began in Austria last December.
