Two women who hosted a house party in Gloucester have been fined a pair of 10.00 for violating lockdown rules.

The team was discovered on Sunday (November 8) morning when Gloucestershire police officers were patrolling Burton Street where the address is located.

Officers heard loud music and screams coming from inside – and saw more than 30 people gather.

When asked by officials, the two women identified themselves as organizers.

Attendees were dispersed and women were subsequently reported to have violated the requirement for more than 30 people to hold relevant gatherings or not participate in the event.

They will now receive a fixed penalty notice from the National Police Unit ACRO Criminal Records Office.

The new rules, which go into effect on Thursday (November 5th), mean that no person can leave or stay in the place where they live without a valid excuse and for home interior settings.

This means that no person can take part in a gathering of two or more people and it takes place inside the house, including a private resident.

The Gloucestershire Constabulary said there were 170 lockdown violations over the weekend in the county.

The army has also launched an operation with Goente police to prevent people from crossing the border into Wales to go to the clubbing.
