Jade Tharwall will miss Little Mix: The first live show of the search on Saturday, the BBC announced as he was forced to disassociate himself.
The broadcaster shared a statement on Twitter on Wednesday in which the musician revealed 2 – who will test coronaviruses like his bandmates Jesse Nelson, Leigh-Ann Pink and Perry Edwards – to coach via video link.
The competition series was suspended earlier this month after crew members became infected with a ‘small number’ of viruses.
UPDATE: Jade Tharwall will miss Little Mix: The first live show of Saturday’s search as she was forced to detach herself, the BBC announced.
The statement reads: ‘Jad will have to separate himself this week and will therefore play his role as a mentor at Little Mix The Search from home.
‘For this Saturday’s event, JD will participate via video link, Jesse, Le-Ann and Perry as well as mentors will continue.’
People in the UK isolate themselves if they show any symptoms or are tested positive for Covid-19. If they are with them or any member of their support bubble is caught with the virus, they also become isolated.

A representative of Little Mix declined to comment further when contacted by MailOnline.
Despite the mix of crew members’ questions, artists Jade, Perry, 227, Jesse and Leigh-Ann, both 29, are perfectly clear.
A source told The Sun, ‘They all tested negative and there is no need to separate them. ‘They will be tested regularly during the series.’
Ah oh: The competition series was postponed earlier this month when a ‘small number of crew’ members were infected with the virus.
A BBC spokesman added: ‘We can confirm that a small number of people at Little Mix the Search product tested positive for the coronavirus and are now self-isolated following the latest government guidelines.
‘We have decided to postpone Saturday’s show because of the format of the show.
‘There are strict protocols for managing Covid-19 because the safety of everyone involved in production is universal. We hope to air again on Saturday, October 24th. ‘
Host Chris Rams also went on Twitter to confirm that he was testing negative for COVID-19, as he told fans that the live show had been postponed.
