The mathematics curriculum of the Canadian province was last updated in 2005. By adding skills such as coding and financial literacy, it will encourage “critical skills to help our students prepare and succeed in the modern world and for the modern workforce.”
The new curriculum will also focus on connecting mathematics to everyday life and math concepts and skills such as learning and remembering number concepts.
