Indonesia’s Telkom reached new heights in November on the Netflix ISP Speed ​​Indicator, our monthly update on which ISPs provide the best primetime Netflix streaming experience.

Telkom increased 1 megabits per second (Mbps) to 2.8 megabits per second, an improvement from 1.8 megabits per second a month earlier. Thanks to this increase, average speeds in Indonesia recorded the biggest jump in November, rising from 0.6 Mbps to 3.0 Mbps.

Three other countries also saw an increase in their average speed in November. Guatemala, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan all saw an increase of 0.2 megabits per second (Mbps) in average speeds.

Elsewhere in Asia, Vietnam’s VNPT fell by 0.4 Mbps to 3.4 Mbps.

Four countries experienced declines. Bolivia, Costa Rica and Vietnam all dropped 0.2 mbps to 3.2 mbps. Paraguay, which was the top performer last month, also saw its average speed drop from 0.2 Mbps to 3.4 Mbps.

The best performing ISPs maintained their average speed over the last month at 3.8 Mbps.

30 countries and territories had the highest performance levels in November. Eight of the nine newcomers last month – Finland, Malaysia, Canada, India, Ireland, Panama, Italy and South Korea – returned to be top performers in November.
