Graven In the fight against truck driver shortages and climate change, Graven-based forwarding company Fiez is increasingly dependent on the railways. For the customer Galleria Karstad Kaufhof, for example, the Münsterlander Unna transports large quantities by rail from the central warehouse to various regions of Germany. Delivery is made with mobile truck bodies, so called swap bodies.

The concept is to be expanded, CEO Jens Feige announced in an interview with Handelsblatt. “To do this, we are trying to win over more dealers and other customers in Germany.” To improve their carbon footprint, they use their own siding. Rails are also used to counter obstacles between truck drivers.
