The Beats brand earlier this week announced the upcoming launch of a new audio product: the Studio Buds.
These will be true wireless in-ear headphones with active noise reduction technology. This is no big surprise as the headphones have already been spotted in the source code for iOS 14.5 (remember it’s Apple that owns the Beats brand), but the headphones had already appeared in a wrap clip.
This will be the brand’s second pair of true wireless headphones, and the first to feature active noise reduction. There should be only one level of noise reduction, but the headphones should also offer a “transparency” mode to amplify surrounding noise as and when necessary.
Compatible with all Bluetooth devices, the Studio Buds should however reserve some features for iOS, including support for Dolby Atmos sound as well as the activation of Siri voice assistance (for Google Assistant, pressing a button will be required). ).
Beats declares 8 hours of working autonomy with and 5 hours without active noise reduction. The box will allow two full recharges of the headphones. Three pairs of silicone eartips of different sizes will be delivered during the summer with the headphones available at €149.95.
