G.Skill announces a new family of so-called “high performance” DDR4 memory modules. It is specifically targeted at Intel’s Z590 platform. We get frequencies ranging from 4266 to 5333 MHz. These kits are available in the Trident Z Royal, Trident Z RGB or Repuse V.
Core 11 processor availabilityTh There is an opportunity to announce the high speed DDR4 kit for the generation G.Skill. The target platform is naturally the Z590. We get dual channel kits, that is to say, offers made of two memory modules. Capacities range from 16 GB to 64 GB with frequencies from 4 GB 6 MHz to 5333 MHz with 4400, 4600, 4800 and 5066 MHz.
Rocket Lake-S and DDR4-5333 MHz
The “showcase” kit consists of two 8 GB strips. Its frequency is calibrated at 5333 MHz under the timing of 22–32–32–52. On the other hand, the voltage increases to 1.6V which is much higher than the 1.2V recommended for DDR4.
These different settings were equipped with an Intel Core i9-119004 processor with ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI, ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII APEX and MSI MEG Z590I UNIFY motherboard.
The frequency of 4800 MHz is with a time of 17–19–19–39 and a voltage of 1.6V. This setting has been validated with the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XIII APEX motherboard and a Core i7-11700KF processor.
All this small world is available now. G.Skill does not indicate any pricing in its press release.
