Stadia GameStreamingpla Recorder
Google announced a new game streaming platform called Stadia as its keynote speaker. The platform originated from the project stream and project named ‘Yeti’ and is to compete with NVIDIA (GeForce Now) and Sony (PlayStation Now). Google wants to make the platform available to everyone so that you can play all games anywhere. Stadia is suitable for gamers, for developers, for YouTube creators, and for those who like to watch games.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai made the announcement despite not being a big gamer (but loves cricket). Fortunately, according to Pichai, there are enough people within Google with artificial intelligence (AI) as well as a lot of knowledge of the game. Pichai said that combining deep brains, cloud computing and gaming is a big step and Stadia adds to it.

Stream Games from Chrome Browser
So, with this new full game streaming platform, you can stream AAA games in just five seconds from the Chrome browser on your desktop, your Android smartphone, Android tablet, or your Android TV / Smart TV. You do not need to install the game as it will be streamed. A powerful gaming PC is no longer required, all you need is a fast internet connection and a Chrome browser. It is possible to play heavy games on a Chromebook or Pixel 3, but streaming is also possible on your smart TV. A console or media streamer is also not required. More browsers will be supported in the future, so the platform will be even bigger.
Google’s global data centers are common threads because they are truly platforms. Google promises to give game developers full access to these data centers, making it easier to build in the cloud and stream more easily to gamers. It also collaborates with multiple partners such as Unity and Unreal Engine with the aim of creating the most flexible game streaming platform. In addition, there are parental controls so that parents can control which games are streamed.
10,7 Teraflops
Stadia will support 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. It will be increased to 8K and 120 fps in the future. Among other things, DOOM will be streamable via Stadia in 4K and 60fps. Google uses its own data centers, as indicated, but also an AMD-designed graphics processor that is good for 10.7 Teraflops. Google has compared this to PlayStation 4 Pro with 4.2 Teraflop and Xbox One to 6.0 Teraflop.
Stadia was born from Project Stream, a “technical test” aimed at solving the biggest challenges of streaming games from the Chrome browser. In October we saw the first result of this project as a result of a collaboration with the game publisher Ubisoft. Together they have made it possible to stream Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in 1080p at 60 fps from the Chrome browser. A limited number of parties were allowed to test the game’s demo. On January 15, Google ended the test and today we see the final results for the first time: Stadia.
Availability available
Stadia will be available in the United States, United Kingdom and some Europe this year. Then the costs for any membership will also be announced.
