The 2021 first launch date for SpaceX Falcon 9 was set for Thursday night

SpaceX, Elon Musk Rocket companyThe new year began with the launch of a communications satellite into space for the Turkish nation.

The SportX will be launched into orbit from the Florida Cape Canaveral Space Force Station soon on Thursday night.

SpaceX has not officially confirmed the mission, but the airspace has been closed and weather bulletins point to scheduling it with a backup run window approximately 8 hours later.

The satellite is expected to land the first phase of the Falcon 9 booster, which will begin its fourth flight, followed by a fourth landing, this time at Atlantic Park Just Read instruction.

This would be a relatively regular mission for SpaceX, but a night ride from the Space Coast is always a great view.

The Falcon 9 is currently set to launch sometime during a four-hour window starting at PDT (8:30 pm local time). The weather forecast will be 60% favorable on Thursday night and 80% the next evening.
