The heavy D suspect died of a heart attack and his neighbors found him dead on the floor of his kitchen, his neighbor said.
The celebrity Big Brother star, whose real name is Colin Newell, has died after going missing for a fortnight this week, but no cause of death has yet been revealed.
Lorna Onabanjo, near Colin’s home in Le-On-C, Essex, said she last saw him on November 14 and was worried he would not listen to her again.
He told MailOnline: “I tried my best to raise his spirits but then he went home and no one else had heard of him before.”
Mrs Onabanjo said Colin’s family had been contacted this morning and they had shared the sad news of his death.
He added: “Some of his brothers went around his house in north London and they saw his body through a window on the kitchen floor.
“At the moment it is suspected that he died of a heart attack but we will not know after the postmortem.”
The Mirror contacted Heavy D’s representatives to comment online.
D died this week after being “missing” for the D fortnight in India, the Mirror can understand online.
His brother, Patrick Neol, confirmed the sad news, saying he had desperately searched for Colin two weeks before his death.
He has not been seen on social media since November 14.
