East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull were the only two fields that recorded less than 100 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Twelve deaths have been recorded at Yorkshire Hospital

Twelve more patients tested positive for Covid-19 died at Yorkshire Hospital, bringing the county’s death toll to 2,7622.

They were cared for at Sheffield, Bradford, Burnsley, Mid Yorkshire, Hull and Calderdale and Huddersfield hospitals.

A further 611 Kovid-19 died in hospitals across England, meaning 30,97,111 patients have died since the epidemic began.

Patients ranged in age from 54 to 96 years. All but four (56 to 92 years old) were aware of their underlying health status.

Yorkshire infection rate

The latest available data indicates that infection rates are rising in most parts of Yorkshire.

Sheffield, at the risk of a Tier 3 restriction this number should continue to rise, with 2,606 new infections recorded in seven days from 12 October.
